Our ghee is made from whole milk obtained from our own desi pure breed gir cows on our farm. The cows are free to roam about and are fed a healthy diet mix of grass, jowar, bajra, maize, ashwagandha, shatavari etc. also grown on our farm especially for the cows.

We manufacture ghee according to the definition given in the shastras (e.g. Charak Samhita), and therefore it helps to provide deep nourishment to all of the dhatus (tissues) of the body which helps generate Ojas, the most subtle material in the body. Nutrition Fact

Without ojas there would be no life at all, and depleted or corrupted ojas gives poor immunity and imbalanced function of the neuro-hormones and neuro-transmitters. Ghee can directly enhance Ojas in the body, but only if the ghee you eat is made according to the strict guidelines of the Shastras.
Ghee made according to the definition is also nourishing to the brain.

In Chapter 10 of Charak Samhita, it is mentioned that out of all snehas (Sthawar or Jangam), ghee is the best! Ghee does not lose its quality when mixed with other eatables. But when mixed with ghee other elements may change their qualities for the better.

The most efficient method to manufacture ghee, used in previous yugas, is to first make curd from Whole milk. The curd is churned to separate makhan (मक्खन) from it and then it is boiled to get Ghee. This is called whole milk ghee and it is the costliest but has all medicinal properties of cow's milk. To manufacture 1 kg of such ghee, it takes 30 to 35 litres of cow milk. The only bi-product is Chaas OR buttermilk (no milk is left as it is converted into curd). So this method is expensive.

Benefits of Ghee

Ghee has a high smoke point

You can cook and fry with ghee and it will not break down into free radicals like many other oils.

Buttery taste without causing dairy allergies.

Ghee is made from butter but the milk solids and impurities have been removed so most people who are lactose or casein intolerant have no issue with ghee.

Ghee is rich in the oil soluble vitamins A and E.

Ghee is rich in K2 and CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid)

An antioxidant with anti-viral properties if it is sourced from grass fed cows.

Ghee is Nutritionally Rich

Ghee is rich in medium chain fatty acids which are absorbed directly to the liver (like carbs) and burnt as energy. Athletes can use ghee as a consistent energy source.

Digestion and Immune Strengthening

Ghee (unlike other oils) is rich in butyric acid, a short chain fatty acid. Beneficial intestinal bacteria convert fiber into butyric acid and then use that for energy and intestinal wall support. A healthy body therefore makes it own form of ‘ghee’ but you can aid that greatly by just consuming it.

Healthy Immune System

Research shows that adequate production of butyric acid supports the production of killer T cells in the gut, and thus a strong immune system.

Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Cancer

(i) Researchers are using oral butyrate supplements and butyrate enemas to treat inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis.
(ii) Ayurvedic physicians have been using ghee enemas for centuries to decrease inflammation.

Strong Appetite

Ghee stimulates the secretion of gastric acid, thus aiding in the digestive process. Better digestion equals better health and weight loss.

Massage With Ghee

Massaging the head with pure ghee and rubbing soles of feet using copper bowl & warm pure ghee helps to remove toxins & re-balance body's energy and reduce stress.
